Important consultation

Hello all,

Sorry to interrupt all your winter holidays and your break from university but an important message has come up and I feel it must be communicated quickly.

The University is changing the way it interacts with students, especially in respect to Careers and Disability Services.  This has the potential to cause some serious changes, not least Disability Services moving to the Environmental Studies building near Market Services.

Therefore, Disability Services wants to find out what they are doing well and what they can improve on.  They are holding a focus group for students to contribute to.  I highly reccomend that students go to this focus group so that the best feedback is brought forth.  As we have seen during the Access Audit, the input of students is critical and can change the course of how the university works.  It is also important for me and the Disabled Students' Network, as it shows us what students want and means that we can continue representing you to the best of our ability.

If you wish to come along please e-mail  zoe.devlin@york.ac.uk to book a spot.  Places are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, so get those e-mails in!

Oh and Happy Holidays everyone!
